Graphic design is my way to turn abstract ideas, interests, and passions into visuals. This is a space for personal projects created to experiment, have fun, and unlearn perfectionism. Here you’ll find graphic design, motion design, photography, drawings, and whatever comes out of my mind and hands when I feel the need to push my limits or visually translate a concept. This helps me keep my creativity alive and broaden my technical skills.
Literature and books have always been an important part of my life. I like gifting someone a novel with a custom bookmark I’ve designed, usually featuring a quote from the book that resonated with me.
Typography plays a crucial role in my projects. I often take inspiration from the poet Guillaume Apollinaire and the designer AG Fronzoni.

Spazio (2018)
Editorial project about astronomical space. Typography is used as a tool to create eloquent compelling images, where every letter has been placed manually.
I experimented with the arrangement of letters to visually represent the concepts expressed by the images. Readability is not important: the overall composition delineates the topic.

Poster + Bookmark (2022)
Poster and bookmark inspired by a quote from the book Hopscotch, by Julio Cortázar: “Nothing coincides even if the same, everything is born again even if immortal”.
Chronic Copy (2018)
Fanzine project developed during the graphic design course at the Academy of Fine Arts of Bologna. Each student designed four pages, copying the style of a chosen artist or designer.
I chose AG Fronzoni, an influential Italian graphic designer known for his minimalist black-and-white approach and strong use of typography. His work is defined by geometric forms, clean lines, and clarity, using only essential elements. I visually translated a series of Fronzoni’s quotes to design my pages and a poster for the exhibition.

Inspired by a quote from the book This Business of Living: Diaries 1935 — 1950, by Cesare Pavese: “But he who seeks, finds; our experiences spring from within us, and the adventures we have are those we choose to have”.
Nice Landscape! (2019)
Photographic project exploring the impact of intensive vineyard cultivation for Prosecco production in the province of Treviso.
The use of black and white emphasises the monotony of the landscape and the exploitation of the plants: identical in form, spacing, and height. These ordered rows recall scenes from the expressionist film Metropolis, where the working class is portrayed as a mass of uniform, alienated bodies.
